Pamela Barker

Pam joins the RCC team as our Administrative Assistant. Prior to staying home with her three incredible children, Pam went to St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. She was a history major and was a four year member of the women's basketball team, voted captain senior year. After college, Pam took a year off and backpacked through Europe and drove across the United States. Pam started her career in marketing at Reebok. While the working for an athletic shoe company was rewarding, Pam was searching for more meaning in her career. She went back to graduate school and got her MED from Lesely University in Cambridge, Ma. While in graduate school Pam worked in admissions at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in the same neighborhood. She was lucky enough to stay on at BB&N to teach and coach at the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools! Pam currently lives in Needham and a passionate runner and reader. In her free time, she loves to spending time with her family and friends, going to church, playing board games, hiking, swimming, skiing....she loves the outdoors. As Pam and her husband John, daughters Erin and Maeve and son Thomas, grew to love Needham, they were searching for a church in which their faith and family could grow. Coming from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, they were thrilled to find the Redeemer Community Church to worship.
