Ryan Marshall

Ryan is the newest addition to the staff at Redeemer Community Church, beginning as our Minister to Students in August of 2011.

Ryan was born and raised in a suburb of Columbus, OH, but moved to MetroWest in 2006 to begin his Master’s of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, which he completed in May of 2011. His wife, Andrea, was born on Cape Cod and most of her family is still in New England. Their son, Lukas, was born in October, 2010.

In the spring of 2011, Trinitarian Congregational Church of Wayland ordained Ryan to Christian Ministry, which was the culmination of a long and thorough process of education, training, and discernment. Before coming to RCC, Ryan had been working as a chaplain for the men and women who work aboard the commercial ships that come to Boston Harbor. He enjoyed the time and experience in that ministry, but was excited to have the opportunity to join our community to work with youth. He has experience working with students in a variety of settings including Parks and Recreation programs and Christian high-adventure camps. He is himself the product of a well led church youth group.

In his free time you’ll find Ryan playing ball with his dog, kayaking on the Charles, riding his bike, playing the drums, or going to the beach with his family.
