High School
If you're in high school, you're learning what it means to grow up! You're learning to be independent, ask tough questions, and form your own worldview. You're beginning to think about the bigger picture in which you are living. At Redeemer Community Church, we want you to feel free to continue this process even as you explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Whether you've been coming to church since you were a baby or you're here for the first time, you are free to continue asking the tough questions as you begin integrating your spiritual life with your everyday life. After Jesus was raised from the dead, he invited a skeptic named Thomas to come and investigate the evidence. Jesus invites each of us, no matter how skeptical, to come and do the same.
Sunday mornings, we worship with the whole community; then during the sermon, we'll have our own time of prayer and Bible study. Sunday evenings, beginning September 11, 2011, join us at the church at 6:15 for a meal. Then stay for music, games, and another opportunity to focus on your faith. Oh, and don't forget the outings and events ... like the January Retreat!
Highschoolers can also take part in a process called Confirmation; it is an intensive time of exploring one's faith and confirming together with the church community that Jesus is your Lord.
So bring your questions, bring your friends, and learn to walk together as we follow Jesus Christ.
